Room Hire Terms & Conditions
All the following Terms & Conditions must be adhered to,
or you may forfeit your deposit.
1. Function room hire is subject to a £100 deposit. Should none of the below terms be broken during your event/function, your deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days.
2. All room hire fees must be paid in full, 8 weeks before your event. If you cancel before your event, unfortunately it will result in loss of your deposit in full
3. Challenge 25. Under no circumstances is alcohol to be purchased or consumed by anyone under the age of 18. ID checks are in operation. Photo ID must be shown when challenged.
4. We do not allow 18th or 21st birthday parties.
5. The bar will close 1hour before the end of your booking to allow time to clear/tidy the room. You MUST Vacate the room by the end of your agreed room hire time.
6. All drinks, including children's drinks, must be purchased from the bar or an agreed corkage paid.
7. Access times are strict due to other club bookings. Access other than the allotted 30 minutes before your event start time, may be granted on request. The function room MUST be vacated by your booked agreed end of your time booked.
8. The maximum number of guests using the function room must not exceed 120 (one hundred and twenty). This includes children. Please factor in band members (and their guests) and/or disco (and their guests).
9. The hirer is requested to make themselves known to staff at the start of your function and to remain on site for the duration of the function room hire. The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of their guests, and any unruly behaviour/staff abuse/damage or breakages to SSSC property. No Pets Allowed.
10. The hirer is responsible for leaving the function room reasonably clean and tidy. Litter is to be cleared from tables and floor. No food or personal belongings may be left at SSSC after your function.
11. Only blue tac is to be used for hanging decorations or posters, NO PINS. These must be removed at the end of your function. We also advise not to use confetti or party poppers as you will be clearing the room after use.
12. The SSSC has strict noise restrictions imposed due to its location to adjacent properties. Your band/disco/entertainer may be asked to reduce their volume to avoid complaints. Your guests are also requested to leave the premises quietly.

The Hirer – The named person who completed the Room Hire Application Form
Personal Belongings - balloons/plates/food warmers/cutlery/equipment…items that do not belong to SSSC.
